Peer Assisted Student Success Scheme Bursary - Academic year 2021/2022

For the 21/22 academic year, the University of Bedfordshire will launch a new bursary scheme for students called Peer Assisted Student Success (PASS).

PASS adopts a strategic and targeted approach based on research-informed evidence and good practice towards enhancing student success through Peer Assisted Learning programmes. Its overarching aims are to:

  • contribute towards addressing progression inequalities and improving progression rates for under-represented students.
  • encourage engagement amongst underrepresented target groups and beneficiaries with Peer Assisted Learning.
  • increase student agency through encouraging student-staff partnerships and student co-production.
  • develop employability skills to enhance graduate outcomes

  • Disabled students
  • Ethnic (ABMO) students
  • Access and participation groups
  • Fermale Asian-Pakistani students
  • Female Asian-Bangladeshi students
  • Black Caribbean male students
  • Other underrepresented groups
