The School of Arts and Creative Industries Presents: Choreographic research

Choreographic research. Two evenings of diverse work created by the MA students from dance theatre to Chinese classical dance to experimental contemporary dance. A great chance to see professional-level work by emerging artists and be inspired in your own creativity!

The School of Arts and Creative Industries Presents: University Dance Company

We are inviting you to come and watch our third year Dance and Professional Practice and Performing Arts students who have participated as performers and collaborators in the creation and performance of new repertoire by Katie Boag and Laura Gibson. Through this unit called University Dance Company, the students have been questioning and exploring what the professional roles, skill requirements and expectations of a performer are. This unit responds to current developments in the dance sector drawing on up to date choreographic research methods and choreographic trends.

The final production from the 3rd year performing arts students as part of the Staging New Writing unit. Beyond... will be will a brand new play written and directed by lecturer Richard Mann. It will be created out of initial group workshops and written especially for the students.

The School of Arts and Creative Industries Presents: The Degree Show 2022

Back for the first time in 3 years, the grad show 2022 will be a chance to celebrate students achievements at UOB and highlight performances from the performing arts, dance and acting courses. This year is also very special as we are delighted to invite back students who graduated in both 2020 and 2021 to join in the celebrations as we also highlight their time at UOB. Please note that the Hub will be open from 16.00 for pre-show drinks and then after the show for anyone interested in partying!
