Academic Workload Planning | University of Bedfordshire

The University has transitioned to a new Academic Workload Planning (AWP) system, provided by Simitive. This page has been created to support colleagues in quickly familiarising themselves with the new system.

The AWP system is a platform designed to model, monitor, and manage academic workloads in a transparent and consistent way. It ensures that workload delivery aligns with agreed frameworks, university policies, and statutory reporting requirements.

You can access the new system by visiting: awlp.beds.ac.uk - you can sign in with SSO (Single Sign On) and this will give you access.

There are different types of user in the system:

Allocator - colleagues with line management responsibility can set, edit and provide workload plans
User - colleagues who have workload plans set for them can agree and query a plan
