Terry Lee

Terry is the Senior Tutor in Radio & Audio at the Unversity, and is also responsible for the award-winning Radio LaB 97.1FM.

He joined the University in 2014, having previously been the manager of Future Radio in Norwich, where he had been working from 2007.

In 2018, he launched a podcast series called 'Fantastic Noise'.

The podcast is primarily aimed at students studying radio, and features the voices of radio professionals and experts.

Terry has a passion for creative radio and presented Future Radio’s breakfast show for five years.

He also made a series of radio documentaries about a 35 mile long Norfolk Broads walk, created journalistic content for the EU Radio Network (Euranet), and explored the power of radio in educating young people in the Paul Hamlyn Foundation funded-project ‘Connect: Transmit’

Overseeing Radio LaB, Terry supports a team of students who manage the output and activities of the radio station.


Terry has been a Director of the Community Media Association, the national representative body for Community Media, since 2013.

In May 2015 Terry was voted in as a Clophill Parish Councillor
