Collaboration and real industry experience are essential in the creative industries, so you will benefit both from working with students on other courses as well as from a wide range of extracurricular opportunities through the year – covering events on and off campus, visiting media institutions and companies in London and elsewhere, supporting cultural projects with local schools, and finding work experience. We support our students from year one to be aware of the job market and the skills necessary to be “work-ready”.

We are a diverse University with a widening participation agenda, and we believe in the transformative potential of education. Our students come from different backgrounds and have varied interests, which we acknowledge and support. Our staff are excellent teachers – we have a very solid sustained record through our teaching evaluations and how we support our students through small group teaching and excellent feedback. Many of our staff have industry backgrounds and/or are research active.
