COVID-19 CST Lab Bookings

Please follow our guidelines whilst on campus by:

◇ wearing a face covering (unless you are exempt)
◇ keeping a safe distance from others, wherever possible
◇ visiting hand-sanitising stations regularly

Additional Opening Hours

Additional hours maybe requested by groups of more than 10 students if they have a legitimate reason. Please contact Robert Keane: robert.keane@beds.ac.uk

IMPORTANT The labs never open before 9am - this is to allow cleaners access to the labs. Please DO NOT enter the labs before 9am, you will be asked to leave.

Opening times may vary from the published times due to exams and other University and CST activities, please check here for details.

The labs are closed for general access from the end of Term 3 exams until the start of Term 1. This is for upgrades, repairs, maintenance and other activities within the labs.

MSc students doing their thesis over the summer will be allowed access to the labs, but must report to the Technical Support Team to be allocated rooms.

When the labs are not being used for classes, it is possible to use the machines for class work and other academic work. Please note that at certain times of the day we have more practical sessions than other times. To ensure getting a machine please pick a time when there are less sessions running.
