Prism Glasses

When the retinal image of a participant is displaced by prism glasses, the participant will make errors in reaching for objects. Objects which are really straight in front of the participant will appear off to one side and the participant will make the corresponding error when asked to reach for the object. After repeated practice the participant will adapt and will again be able to reach accurately for objects in his or her visual field.
