As part of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car (ERAC) Advisors of the Round Table Conference, the company awards its partner universities for their work in recruiting students for its graduate management trainee programme.

This year, the team won the Innovator of the Year Category for its employability ideas to help the company engage with students.

The University’s Recruitment Services Manager Priya Chauhan said: “We were delighted to win this award and it recognised the team’s hard work in matching students to career opportunities. This has very much been a partnership with ERAC and we look forward to building on this in the future.”

ERAC ran several workshops for students to help them promote themselves to potential employees during interviews. It also delivered a session to Psychology students looking at how psychology could be applied to business.

ERAC’s Group Talent Acquisition Manager for London and the South East Regina Van Burkleo said: “We count the University of Bedfordshire as a true partner.  Through the careers office, we have met some highly ambitious and driven students at careers events, workshops and interview days.  We look forward to engaging with and hiring more students into our placement and graduate schemes.”
