Get Out, Get Active is a FREE sports programme for 14-25 year olds with a disability. The programme will be running multi-sport sessions, which may include; wheelchair table tennis, wheelchair basketball, archery and boccia.

The Get Out, Get Active programme has been developed by the University of Bedfordshire though support from the Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes Collaborative Network and Sport England.

It is through this support that we are proud to offer free, weekly sessions, to enable young people to try out new and existing sports.

We are offering this opportunity to young people aged between 14-25 years old with a disability. Sessions will be based on a multi-sport model and will vary each week.

Each group will be led by qualified sports coaches, who are fully DBS checked and qualified to at least level 2. These will be hosted in our state of the art sports hall, located on Polhill Avenue.

The Get Out, Get Active programme is being launched soon and we would encourage any interested young people to get in touch.

There is no associated cost to the sessions; all equipment, coaching and goodie bags are free of charge, you just need to cover the transport to and from Polhill Avenue if necessary.

Places are limited, so please email nnco@beds.ac.uk as soon as possible to express your interest.
