Finance students from the University of Bedfordshire’s Business School got the chance to explore the inner workings of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) during a visit.

The students attended a lecture at the London Stock Exchange in the City of London where they discovered how the London Stock exchange operates and the other markets that it is in competition with.

Senior Tutor in Accounting and Finance Jane Waksman said: “The lecture was excellent as it gave the students an opportunity to both visit the City of London and to discover first-hand how the financial markets operate here in the UK.”

The lecture was really interesting and helped us understand the financial procedures taking place in LSE.”

Fellow student Vlasios Tzanas said: “Our visit was a great opportunity for us to see the place where all those capitals from around the world are trading.”

Fellow student Yuchen Wang said: “I found myself getting a clearer picture of the stock market and the actual transactions happening within it.”
