A School of Culture & Communications lecturer from the University of Bedfordshire joined a panel of industry experts to decide the winner of a British Academy Children’s Awards.

Course Coordinator in TV Production Kathryn Wolfe joined a jury of industry practitioners to decide who should be awarded the Best Presenter category.

The jury decided that the accolade should be awarded to CBeebies presenter Maddie Moate for pre-school science show Did You Know?

Kathryn said: “This is the fifth BAFTA jury I have taken part in. It is an honour to debate with such experienced industry practitioners, and always a tough call to choose the four nominees and one winner. I am really grateful for this opportunity to keep up with industry trends and to take part in this prestigious event.”
