The Guardian University Guide recognises Bedfordshire’s growing academic excellence, this year ranking 103^rd in the UK, with standout subject performances including:

• 1st in the UK for Mental Health Nursing
•  5th in the UK for Education
• 19th in the UK for Criminology
• 19th in the UK for Paramedic Science 
• 25th in the UK for Sport Science

The University has also seen improvements across several key subject areas, including Accounting & Finance (up 65 places), Computer and Information Systems (up 38 places), and Criminology (up 51 places).

This rise builds on Bedfordshire’s success in the National Student Survey 2025, where students rated the University 1^st in the region for Learning Opportunities, and 2^nd for Student Voice.

This achievement also follows closely on the heels of the University’s success in the Daily Mail’s University Guide last month, marking the second national league table rise in 2025.

These results, alongside our subject successes, highlight our commitment to helping every student thrive and succeed.”
