Managing your mental health

Sometimes life can be stressful and leave us feeling out of control. We can all feel down when we are overwhelmed by changing circumstances such as:

  • New relationships
  • Managing study and exams
  • Money worries
  • Personal problems
  • The death of someone close

It is understandable to find it difficult to motivate yourself when life is not going well. You may have some low moods which can be a natural part of the rhythm of life. However, situations can change or you may see things differently way after a few days. It can often help to try something new to help change your perspective.
