Institute for Research in Applicable Computing
The Institute has a strong record in collaborative research with academic partners at Oxford, Imperial College, UCL, Warwick, Sheffield, King's College, Stanford, UPenn, ETHZ, EPFL and many others, both in the UK and overseas. The collaborations are mainly sponsored by external funds. IRAC has led and has been engaged in multiple research projects with funding from bodies such as the European Commission, EPSRC, RAEng and Leverhulme Trust, generating a total of over £5 million research income.
Institute for Research in Engineering and Sustainable Environment (IRESE)
The Institute is focused on research in engineering with particular efforts invested in enhancing sustainable environment concepts including research in electronic, mechanical, automotive, and construction engineering. The Institute research projects are supported by EU, Innovate UK and EPSRC grants with active collaboration with a number of international and UK partners from academia and industry
