Dr Azadeh Esfandyari

Lecturer in Computer Science

Azadeh Esfandyari

Dr. Azadeh Esfandyari joined the University of Bedfordshire as a Lecturer in Computer Science in November 2023. She completed her PhD in Computer Science at the University of Milan in 2017. Both her bachelor's and master's degrees are in Software Engineering.

Following the completion of her PhD, she started working as an assistant professor, making remarkable contributions to academia. She has published in several well-known academic journals and conferences, such as the Journal of Information Science and the ACM Symposium on Applied Computing. She has also taught a variety of computer science modules and supervised a considerable number of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Additionally, she collaborated as an investigator on various research projects involving interdisciplinary teams.

Before joining the school, she worked in the London-based tech industry, applying her knowledge and expertise in software development and data science to deliver cutting-edge solutions for clients in different domains.
