Tutor/Lecturer in Health and Social Sciences

I have a passion for teaching and this has led me into an academic career since I completed my degree in Medicine.

I am a doctor by profession and I have been in teaching for the last 10 years. I have diverse experience of teaching from medical universities to students of widening participation.

My basic interest is to link health and its determinants into the knowledge of social sciences. I have been module lead for global public health.

After completing a Masters in Public Health, I have been teaching and doing research into different aspects of public health in modern society. This research has led to more enhanced exposure which helps me to incorporate it into teaching methodologies. I incorporate modern teaching methodologies in class so that my students are also well aware of modern educational techniques. I am also completing my Doctoral degree in Public Health.

I took up my position in 2022 and enjoy adopting a creative and innovative approach of teaching.
