Scholarships & Bursaries 2014/15

Applicable to Students Who Started Their Course in 2014/15

Welcome Package

Available to all new first year full time UK/EU students who pay the maximum tuition fees for a BA/BSc course. Worth £450 in total, eligible students will receive £300 'Aspire' credit in their first year toward a specific range of goods and services linked to their studies, in addition to £50 credit toward printing costs for each year of their course.

Enhanced Welcome Package

Every student coming to study for a degree from one of the University's partner colleges, as identified in the University's 2015-16 Access Agreement, will be entitled to a Partnership Scholarship worth £150 aspire credit.

National Scholarship Programme

The National Scholarship Programme is open to UK applicants who are not NHS funded. The family income should be less than £25,000 per year.

Access Scholarship

The Access Scholarship is open to UK and EU students with similar conditions to the NSP.

Centenary Scholarship

The Centenary Scholarship is awarded to high-achieving students who achieve grades in their studies prior to entering University of ABB, or higher, at A-level, or HEFCE-approved equivalent in one sitting.

Academic Scholarship

The Academic Scholarship is awarded to students who achieve at least 280 UCAS points in one sitting, with at least 200 UCAS points at A2 level.

Care Leavers Bursary

The Care Leavers Bursary is available to students who are "open to care" and supported by their local authority leaving care service. You may be eligible for the National Scholarship of £2,700 paid over three years and in addition; you may be eligible to receive £1,000 Care Leavers Bursary in your second and third year.

HE Bursary Continuing Students

All UK/EU students studying a full-time undergraduate degree paying a tuition fee of £3,465 may receive a non-repayable HE Bursary
