13th September 2017 - Free screening of "The Story of Stuff" - a fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns.

You are invited to the next BCCF film screening of The Story of Stuff

After a break during August, the Sustainability Forum and Beds Climate Change Forum is very happy to invite you to the next film on Wednesday 13th September at the University of Bedfordshire.

Four short films will be shown, starting with The Story of Stuff.

Consumerism is a key driver of climate change. Over the past ten years the Story of Stuff project has released a series of short animated films focussed on consumerism that are community minded, solutions focussed, and action orientated.  At our September meeting we will watch and discuss four of these films: the Story of Stuff;  The Story of Change;  The Story of Solutions; and Cap and Trade.  Activities will ask you to consider the strengths and weaknesses of The Story of Stuff's analysis and solutions and how the project's arguments can best be introduced to those who show little interest or concern for the issues the films raise.
