The Bedfordshire Career Development Award
We are excited to announce that the Bedfordshire Career Development Award will be launching on a brand-new careers platform in the coming months.
From February 2023 we are no longer accepting new registrations onto the award on Careersonline, unless you are completing the award as part of an academic unit. Please see below for more details.
The award is designed to help you identify and build on the skills and strengths you have gained through your degree, and through participation in extra-curricular activities, volunteering, work experience, part-time work, and much more.
You will probably already have experiences that will be recognised and help make you more employable. We aim to help you understand what employers will value and ensure you can promote yourself well when the time comes, including having a strong CV and LinkedIn account.
If you would like to take part in the award but have not yet started, please complete this short form, and we will contact you when the Bedfordshire Career Development Award is available on our new platform.
If you are already taking part in the Bedfordshire Career Development Award, the award will be available on Careersonline until the end of June 2023. After this date, you will no longer be able to access the award via Careersonline.
We encourage you to aim to complete your current level (Bronze, Silver, or Gold), and the Careers and Employability Service will approve submissions until the end of June 2023.
Should you complete the level, we will award you your certificate which you will receive by the end of 2023. We will also let you know how to finish the award on our new platform.
Yes, absolutely! Even if you have already completed the Bedfordshire Career Development Award on Careersonline, you will also benefit from completing the award on our new platform. We will contact you with further information in Spring 2023.
To find out more about the Bedfordshire Career Development Award, please complete this short form and we will contact you.
