The Journal of Pedagogic Development (JPD) is developed in the Centre for Learning Excellence at the University of Bedfordshire, England. It was launched at the University of Bedfordshire Conference in July 2011 and its focus is on teaching, learning and assessment.

Call for Contributions

  • Do you have an idea for a paper to disseminate your research or good practice?
  • Would you like some supportive and constructive feedback on your academic writing?
  • Would you like your colleagues to read about what you are doing without prejudicing future publishing copyright?

Why not submit your work for publication in the Journal of Pedagogic Development?

We also welcome:

  • 'soapbox' pieces
  • book reviews
  • short papers (2,000-3,000 words) on your research and/or practice.

Please send your submissions to the Editor: david.mathew@beds.ac.uk.

Please complete the subject line of your email in this format. Please start your subject line with the words 'JPD Submission' so that your email goes into the correct folder.

Please send two versions of your submission. One version should show full author details. One version should be completely anonymous. If your work can proceed to the next stage, your anonymous file will be sent out for peer review.

In the version with author details, please present the author(s) in this format:

AUTHOR NAME, NAME OF DEPARTMENT (OR FACULTY), NAME OF INSTITUTION, (COUNTRY if not in the UK)
