Club information

We are an extremely supportive and friendly team and we welcome all ages and abilities. Whether you are competitive or not we are the team for you! We train twice a week with two 1 hours sessions on a Monday and Friday. Socials are also held on a regular basis throughout the year - every Wednesday evening - as well as other group activities throughout the term. This year we are aiming to help the community by hosting charity events throughout the year, raising money for lots of different charities that are close to the teams heart.

We enter 2-weekend competitions throughout the year with Para and Able-bodied disciplines. So what are you waiting for? Jump In!!

Venue

We are based at Trinity Arts & Leisure, located a 20-minute walk from the Bedford campus at MK40 2BS. There are frequent trains from Luton and a free University bus that stops just down the road from the swimming pool itself and outside the train station, making it an easy venue to get to.

How to join

To join our team, follow these simple steps:

1. Download the BUCS Play app from the app store
2. Create a BUCS Play account using your STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS and then when the swimming events are up, you can be added
3. Pay for sports membership using the link below
