NEW FOR 2020/21

This year sees the introduction of the Volleyball Club into the BUCS Leagues. We are looking for a group of male and female students who want to represent the University at this sport.

What Does The Current Stage Mean For Training and Equipment etc
  • COVID officer in place
  • Venues should implement a traffic flow system where possible and have clear guidance on changing rooms, entry and exit points, showers, toilets etc
  • All volleyballs are cleaned before and after a session
  • Indoor volleyball must not exceed groups of 6 people and outdoor 30
  • Personal equipment should be used where possible, and shared equipment must be cleaned before and after use
  • No exercises that involve physical contact are permitted, this also clubs congratulatory contact
  • Players are encouraged not to touch there face or shout and must sanitize at each break
  • Recommended that ball are wiped every 30 minutes
  • The Universities rule on the number allowed in the venue at any one time remains at 6. This means a maximum of 6 athletes can train at once or 5 and a coach.
