Sport Scholarships - how to apply

The sports scholarships are designed to develop and support talented students here at the University of Bedfordshire.

The sport scholarships on offer here provide financial and performance support services that utilise the University’s outstanding facilities.

Applications for the 2023/24 Sport Scholarships are now Closed.

Are you Eligible?

To be eligible for a Sports Scholarship you must:

Be of a regional, county, national, international standard or play in BUCS within the last 12 months.
Successfully accepted onto one of the University’s full time courses or already on a course.
Be a home, EU or International student.
Be an under graduate or postgraduate student.

Please note, meeting the Sport Scholarships' criteria does not guarantee being awarded a Scholarship.

Sport Scholarships on offer

The University has 5 possible sport scholarships on offer for students to apply for. They are designed to support and develop students in their chosen sports. The Scholarships are for sport performers, coaches and officials. Students may only apply for one level of performance award or one level of coach/official award in each academic year.
