Vice Chancellor says access to higher education remains unequal

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Bedfordshire has called for universities to do more to attract potential applicants from poorer and more diverse backgrounds.

In an article published today on current affairs website The Conversation, Vice Chancellor Bill Rammell explains the need to make access to university more fair and equal.

“Education is a fundamental driver of social mobility,” say Mr Rammell, however “the higher education sector mains a hive of inequality.”
